Sony Pictures has released the new trailer for Karate Kid: Legends, the next chapter in the famous saga, directed by Jonathan Entwistle (known for The End of the F***ing World) and written by Rob Lieber (Peter Rabbit). The cast boasts big names, including Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, iconic protagonists of the saga, alongside Ben Wang (American Born Chinese), Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek, Doctor Odyssey), Sadie Stanley (Kim Possible) and Ming-Na Wen (Mulan, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Mandalorian).
Karate Kid: Legends will be released in theaters on June 5.
This new chapter brings together two of the most legendary figures in the series to tell an all-new story filled with emotion and spectacular fights. The story follows Li Fong (Ben Wang), a talented kung fu practitioner who moves to New York with his mother to attend a prestigious school. There, he finds solace in the friendship of a classmate and her father, but his tranquility is soon disturbed by the unwanted attention of a fearsome local karate champion.
