Sivarapalli Web Series Analysis:
Although the story of the Hindi web series 'Panchayat' is a remake, the story of Sivarapalli is very close to the Telugu nativity. In this web series, a remote village in the backdrop of Telangana.. The way the people there behave and the way they behave with the newly arrived Panchayat Secretary are presented very well. Especially the dialogues in this web series connect well with the audience.
The way the rural background is once again shown to the audience is impressive. We are shown how the Panchayat office is in the village. The way Shyam behaves with the innocent villagers impresses the audience. The way he touches on the point of bringing awareness among rural women is good.
Rag Mayur is impressive in the role of Shyam. Muralidhar Goud, as the husband of the Sarpanch, impresses the audience once again with his performance. The way director Bhaskar Maurya has crafted this story seems interesting throughout. ‘Sivarapalli’ entertains the audience as pure family audience content without any twists or adult content.
No matter how simple the story is in such a web series, one should be very careful about entertainment. It must be said that this entertainment is somewhat missing in ‘Sivarapalli’. Although there are comedy scenes, they bring laughter here and there. However, some other scenes seem to be added because something had to be added.
Runtime is also very important for such a web series. The runtime of the web series ‘Sivarapalli’ seems very long. The audience feels as if such a simple story has been stretched for almost four and a half hours. Some lag scenes should also be said to be a minus for this web series.
Some sequences seem to be placed unnecessarily. Except for some characters, the audience is likely to skip many scenes because they do not recognize the people playing the other characters.
Technical category:
Director Bhaskar Maurya's efforts to entertain the audience with a Telugu nativity story in such a remake web series should be appreciated. It must be said that he has succeeded in this effort to a large extent. He has succeeded in making this story connect well with anyone.
The cinematography is also another asset for this film. The village atmosphere and the behavior of the people there have been shown very well. Sinjith Yerramilli's music is impressive. The editing work should have been better. Some lag scenes should have been trimmed. The production values are okay.
Conclusion:
Overall, ‘Sivarapalli’ impresses the audience with a very simple line set in a typical village setting. This web series is a good family content story without any overt twists or nonsense. However, the runtime is long and there are lag scenes here and there. Those who like the village backdrop web series can try ‘Sivarapalli’.
