Pushpa 2 Movie Review: The highly anticipated second part of Pushpa starring Allu Arjun as the hero has finally hit the screens. The film was released under the name Pushpa The Rule. It was announced that there would be a second part when the first part was released. Almost three years after that announcement, the film was released. The film, which is releasing on December 5th, was screened at 9:30 pm the previous night through special premieres. How is this highly ambitious film produced by Mythri Movie Makers under the direction of Sukumar? To what extent did it impress the audience? Let us now see in the review.
Pushpa 2 Movie Story:
This film is a continuation of the first part of Pushpa. The first part of Pushpa was completed with the wedding and the subsequent situations were shown in this film... Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), who has become a syndicate head, is living a beautiful life with Srivalli (Rashmika). One day, while on his way to meet the CM, Srivalli asks him to take a photo with the CM. However, the CM comments that it is not right to take a photo with a smuggler like Pushparaju. Moreover, he advises his wife not to do whatever she asks.
With this, Pushpa tries to change the CM to make his wife's request come true. Changing the CM means literally trying to smuggle thousands of tons of red sandalwood for that. Did Shakawat, who was burning with symbolic flames, stop that attempt? What efforts did he make to stop it? Was Pushpa able to thwart all the attempts? Was he able to change the CM? If Pushpa, who was fighting for her family name, somehow managed to get our family name, you have to watch the movie on the big screen to know such things.
Pushpa 2 Movie Analysis:
There is no need to mention how big a hit the first part of Pushpa was, and there are huge expectations for this movie, which is a sequel to it. Accordingly, the film unit has been hyping the Jatara sequence from the beginning in a range. The Pushparaj Jatara, which started with a range action sequence at the beginning of the film, continued till the climax. In fact, there is not much in this second part, but Sukumar has planned a high moment from the opening card to the end titles.
The fight for a household name continues in the second part as well. The way Pushparaj rises from the national to the international level is shown in a way that will connect with every common audience. In the film, especially the Jatara sequence, almost all the action sequences have been worked out well. The songs are as good to listen to as they are to watch on screen. However, some people may have complaints about Rashmika's characterization.
But the director has succeeded in cultivating emotions in a range with her character as well. Pushparaj, who rose from a laborer to the level of syndicate head, then suddenly had to change a CM, what would he do for it? The scenes seemed very engaging. Also, along with the smuggling sequences, some unexpected twists were extremely impressive to the audience. In fact, since logic should not be sought in such a commercial film, it is enough, or there are some things that logic cannot achieve. However, the film does not lack the high moments that the audience expects for the money they have invested.
Actors Performance:
First, we must mention Allu Arjun. However, what can we say about the hero who received a National Award with the first part? However, Allu Arjun ran a one-man show in all aspects, including dance, expressions, emotional scenes, and action sequences. Rashmika got into the role of Srivalli, and she succeeded in bringing her character to the audience in the way she was written. After them, the role that got the scope to act is Shekhawat, and that is our Fahadh Fazil. He impressed the audience with his own style in this film. Ajay, Tarak Ponnappa, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya, who acted in the other parts, engaged the audience with their roles.
The most important thing to mention in the technical team is the background score. As much as he presented the songs, he took the same care in the background score. Devi Sri Prasad also took care of the background score. All his work was visible on the screen. The cinematographer showed the entire film very richly, especially the action sequences and the chasing sequences, which mesmerized the audience. At the same time, the artwork done by the Mounika couple can also be said to be an additional attraction to the film. Also, the stunt masters' difficulty was visible in every fight sequence. The dance choreography is also top-notch.
Overall, Pushpa 2, logic aside, is an engaging three-hour and 20-minute action drama with high moments.
