'Lucifer' is a political action thriller directed by Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal. Released in 2019, this movie broke all records and became an all-time Malayalam industry hit. This movie was also remade as Godfather under the direction of Mohana Raja starring Tollywood Mega Star Chiranjeevi. But not much of a workout here.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who directed Lucifer in Malayalam, has announced L-2 (Lucifer 2) as a sequel to this movie. On the occasion of Mohanlal's birthday, the superstar's look as Qureshi Abram was released in 'L2 Empuran' and it got a great response. The makers recently announced the release date of this movie.
The makers have released the poster officially announcing that they are releasing this movie on March 27 as a summer gift for next year. While Part-1 was released only in Malayalam, Part-2 "L-2 Empuran" is going to be released in Pan-Indian languages. This crazy project is being produced by Lyca Productions, a film production company known for producing big-budget films. The film, which is currently in the shooting stage, will soon be shot in Gujarat and UAE.
