Tom Holland will be alongside Matt Damon in the new mysterious film by Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan. Filming in early 2025.
Tom Holland's future will not only include the fourth highly anticipated Spider-Man film. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the British actor - fresh from the Apple TV+ TV series The Crowded Room - will be alongside Matt Damon in the new film by Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, which is expected in theaters worldwide on July 17, 2026.
Tom Holland in Christopher Nolan's new film, the first details on the director's new mysterious project
The plot of Christopher Nolan's new film is top secret for the moment, but according to initial rumors, the story will not be set in the present day (so either in the future or in the past). The project – which should start filming in early 2025 – will once again be branded Universal Pictures, the studio with which the British director marked his first collaboration (after years of partnership with Warner Bros.) by making Oppenheimer, a film centered on the life of American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, considered “the father of the atomic bomb“, with which he won the first Oscars of his career (best director and best film as producer). If for Matt Damon it is the third project with Christopher Nolan, after Interstellar and Oppenheimer, for Tom Holland it will be “a first time“.
