Liam Hemsworth has shared his thoughts on replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher series. Cavill played the character from season 1 through season 3 but decided to leave the show, prompting Hemsworth to take over for season 4. This transition has sparked debate among fans, many of whom consider Cavill an irreplaceable actor for the role.

In an interview with Live with Kelly & Mark, Hemsworth revealed that when he got the call to join the cast, he hadn't seen the series or read the original books. However, he did have experience with the video game, which he described as "one of the best video games of all time." During his speech, Hemsworth expressed excitement about his new role, stating that he is a fan of the video game and wants to delve deeper into the series and books to better prepare. 

He mentioned that he spent nine months filming The Witcher, noting the beauty of the Welsh landscapes during filming. There is currently no release date for The Witcher season 4, but the future of the franchise looks promising, especially with a protagonist who shows a genuine interest in the source material.
