A24, the production company behind the successes of The Zone of Interest, Past Lives, The Whale, and Civil War, has released the official trailer of The Brutalist, a film directed by Brady Corbet (Vox Lux) and starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Oscar nominee Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce. Previewed at the last Venice Film Festival, the film will be released in Italian theaters soon.

The Brutalist takes place over 30 years and tells the story of the Jewish architect László Toth (Adrien Brody) and his wife Erzsébet (Felicity Jones). It is 1947 in Hungary, when the couple, survivors of the Holocaust, decide to go and live in the United States. Toth is a visionary architect of great talent and hopes to find fertile ground for his projects overseas. The early days are hard, the family has to face humiliation and hunger. The "American dream" finally comes true when he meets the rich industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren (Guy Pearce) who commissions him to create a great modernist monument. For László it is the most important challenge of his career. But after having reached the peak, he will have to deal with the other side of the coin.
