The character he will play could appear in the prequel spin-off series Vought Rising, announced this summer.
Mason Dye guest stars in the fifth and final season of The Boys, details on his role
In the fifth and final season of The Boys, Mason Dye will play Bombsight, a Super that fans have already heard about in the previous season. He is the third most experienced Supe known to exist, active in the 1950s, during which time he starred as the protagonist in the Vought film The Curse of Fu Manchu. Shortly after his birth, his parents accepted Vought's offer to inject him with Compound V, subsequently transforming him into a Supe and granting him superhuman powers and abilities. The character was written specifically for the series, as there is no trace of him in the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
