The official trailer for Dune: Prophecy, the prequel series of the successful film saga directed by Dennis Villeneuve, has been revealed.

Sky has released the official trailer for Dune: Prophecy, the highly anticipated prequel series of the successful film saga directed by Dennis Villeneuve and starring Timothée Chalamet. Created by Diane Ademu-John and starring Emily Watson (Chernobyl), the show – whose first season will consist of six episodes – will debut exclusively on Sky and stream on NOW on November 18.


Dune: Prophecy Official Trailer and Plot

Set in the expansive Dune universe created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, Dune: Prophecy is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides and follows two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and found the mythical sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. The series is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

In addition to Emily Watson, Dune: Prophecy also stars Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, and Yerin Ha. Alison Schapker serves as showrunner and executive producer. 

Diane Ademu-John co-developed the series and serves as executive producer. Anna Foerster produced and directed several episodes, including the first episode. Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns, and Jon Spaihts serve as executive producers alongside bestselling Sisterhood of Dune author Brian Herbert, while Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert serve as executive producers for the Frank Herbert Estate.
