Superstar Krishna's grandson and Mahesh Babu's nephew Ashok Galla made his Tollywood entry with the movie 'Hero'. Ashok got good marks in the first movie. Galla Ashok started another movie with Josh. His second film is the mass and action entertainer 'Devaki Nandana Vasudeva'. He is going to be seen in a mass avatar in this movie. Directed by Arjun Jandhyala for Guna 369, the film is presented by Nallapaneni Yamini and produced by Somineni Balakrishna under the Lalithambika Productions banner.
Today the makers of the film announced the release date of the film. Devaki Nandana Vasudeva will be released worldwide on November 14, the day before Guru Poornima. Ashok Galla impresses with an intense look in the release date poster. The makers have said that the theme is with a statue of Lord Krishna in the background showing a saint on one side and a villain on the other. It is known in the teaser release that the film has spiritual elements. The first song got a superb response.
After announcing the release date, the makers plan to come with regular updates from now on. The film features Varanasi Manasa opposite Ashok Galla as the female lead, the story is penned by creative director Prashant Varma of Hanu-Man fame, dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. The music is composed by Bheems Cicerolio and the cinematography is handled by Prasad Moorella and Rasul Ellor. Tammiraju took over as editor.
