ComicBook.com reported that the film will be available to stream on Peacock starting October 31. This date comes about two months after the film’s debut on video-on-demand (VOD). The film will join Peacock's catalog of previous entries in the franchise, Despicable Me (2010) and Despicable Me 2 (2013), while Despicable Me 3 (2017) will be available on Fubo.

The film has grossed $360.7 million domestically and $592.5 million internationally. Despite a 56% Rotten Tomatoes score, in line with Despicable Me 3's 58%, the film received an audience score of 88%, indicating strong reception from viewers.

The widespread popularity of the Despicable Me and Minions franchises suggests that the new film will likely be a success on streaming as well, and could perhaps lead to new entries in the series.
