A new section on the PlayStation Store could have anticipated the announcements and games of the upcoming State of Play of September 2024.
With only a few hours to go until the new State of Play, a section has just appeared on the PlayStation Store that could have anticipated the announcements and games that will be shown tonight by Sony.
The section in question, entitled “State of Play”, has, in fact, appeared a few minutes ago on the PlayStation Store and features the following games:
- ASTRO BOT
- The Last of Us Part I
- Stellar Blade
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- LEGO Horizon Adventures
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- Metro Awakening
- Dynasty Warriors: Origins
- FANTASIAN Neo Dimension
- Fear the Spotlight
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Sonic X Shadow Generations
- Alan Wake II
- Hell is Us
Obviously, the appearance of this new section has raised doubts in many that it could be a sort of preview from Sony regarding the games featured in this new State of Play, even though there are titles that we would never have imagined seeing in this communication event.
Among these we undoubtedly find The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of the iconic first chapter of the series by Naughty Dog that has already been available for many months on PC, as well as Astro Bot, a game that has just been released and that could only enjoy a brief announcement on the DLC coming at the end of the year.
Gematsu added that this list includes most of the games already present in one of the previous State of Play, with only Horizon Zero Dawn, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, Fear the Spotlight, Dragon Age: The Veilguard and Hell is Us ever appearing at a Sony event.
For this reason, these could be the only titles actually present in the new SoP.
