Rebel star Prabhas's latest hit is Kalki 2898AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this movie created a worldwide sensation. Amitabh's performance in the role of Aswaddhama was praised by Bollywood. Prabhas impressed as Bhairav. The audience was swayed by Prabhas's performance in the role of Karna in the climax. But there is a lot of dissatisfaction among the fans that Prabhas appeared as Karna only for a short time. The director ends the first part by saying that Karna's prowess will be seen in Kalki – 2.
Audiences are eagerly waiting for the second part of Kalki2898AD. The latest important update regarding Kalki-2 is being received by unit categories. Kalki-2 will be brought under the name “Karna 3102 BC” by the makers. The story seems to revolve around Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas' characters Ashwatthama Karnu. An interesting point to be noted here is that in Part – 2, the setting of the story changes from AD to BC, i.e. the story moves from the future to the past. Kalki-2 takes the story back in time.

Along with the flashbacks, director Nag is going to elaborate on what really happened after Kamal Haasan's character Mahabharata war. The battle scenes between Karna and Arjuna are going to be huge. It is reported that the shooting will start in February next year and the film is planned to be released by 2028.
