A new report has revealed that Ubisoft has canceled the press previews for Assassin's Creed Shadows.

A new report from Tom Henderson has revealed that Ubisoft has not only canceled Assassin's Creed Shadows' presence at Tokyo Game Show 2024 due to "various circumstances," but has also canceled the game's press previews. For these reasons, according to the leaker, the title could be at risk of being delayed.

According to various sources from the well-known and esteemed insider, the press previews for Shadows were scheduled for next week and the embargo date for the previews would have been announced in a few days, thus allowing the specialized press to try the title first-hand.

And as we mentioned at the beginning of the article, according to Tom Henderson it cannot be ruled out that these sudden changes are strictly dependent on a sudden postponement of Assassin's Creed Shadows, with Ubisoft consequently no longer releasing the game on November 12, 2024.

While waiting for further information from Ubisoft, below you can find the communication shared by the publisher just a few hours ago regarding the cancellation of the Tokyo Game Show 2024 event:

"We regret to inform you that, due to various circumstances, we have decided to cancel our online participation in the Tokyo Game Show 2024, originally scheduled for 3:00 PM on September 26. We apologize for the short notice. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was eagerly awaiting the broadcast."
