Bharateeyudu 2 (INDIAN 2) Movie Review: Indian.. One of the best films in Indian film history. "Bharatiyudu 2" as a sequel to this movie which was released two and a half decades ago, came to the audience this Friday. And... let's find out in this review how the movie "Bharatiyadu-2" was released amid many expectations.
Bharateeyudu 2 Movie Story:
Chitra Aravindan (Siddharth) is an ordinary YouTuber. Along with his friends, he makes videos on injustices in the society and tries his best for justice. But.., their power is not enough to face the corrupt people in the society. All of them together will create a trend in social media called "Come back Indian". Senapati alias Bharatiya (Kamal Haasan) who is abroad comes back to India knowing all this. Before he even set foot in the country, he starts rooting out corrupt people. After coming to the country, he will commit another murder and send a message to the youth. Because of that, the heart of the corrupt people in the country starts to growl. If not.., because of this message, a tragedy will happen in the house of Chitra Aravindan (Siddharth). From here the common people will turn against the general. So what is the message given by Senapati as an Indian? What happened to the country because of it? The story of this film is why people hate him
Indian 2 Movie Analysis:
Everyone who has seen the movie "Bharatiyudu" knows how great a patriot Senapati is. Killing his own son for the country's sake and eradicating corruption, he becomes a hero in the eyes of the country's people. In the movie "Bharatiyadu-2", the common people chase such a general with brooms and sticks. It was also a corrupt person who indirectly caused the death of his wife! Quite shocking isn't it? Shankar has degraded the role of Senapati in this movie. By this, we can understand how the story of Bharatiyadudu-2 will unfold. And in the first off, Shankar has written the establishing scenes well to bring the character of Senapati into the story. But.., when that general came, the movie completely fell flat. Even if you think that "Bharatiyadu-2" will get on the right track even after the interval bang, it will not happen. The first half ends with the feeling of watching a very ordinary movie.
After the second off of "Bharatiyadu-2", the story completely lost track. On the one hand, Senapati is doing murders. But.., there is not a single scene to know why he is killing them. Like a cricket commentary, Kamal's mistakes are read and killed in the same repeat mode. On the other hand.. Siddharth and his friends characters are completely clear. In such a dull movie.. Siddharth and Samudrakhani episode seems a bit better. If not.. it's a sub-layer in the whole story so it doesn't really give the audience a kick. The last half hour of a three-hour film remains a test of the audience's patience. Senapati running away, running away.. standing in front of the audience like an accused.. the whole sequence spoils the feel of the movie. Overall, "Indian 2" ends blandly without giving any high.
Actors Performance, Technical Work:
If we talk about Kamal Haasan's performance in a new way.. it seems that he has lowered his level. If not.. the look is not really set. This has become a big minus of the movie. And Siddharth was cast in the role of Chitra Aravindan. If not.. in this he is not a deep enough character to drive the story. Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Vivek, and Priya Bhavani Shankar were impressed with their respective roles. If we look at it technically, some departments have been cleared. Especially Anirudh Ravichander's music has become a minus of the movie. Editor A. Srikar Prasad The less said about editing the better. If not.. Shankar's screenplay is the reason for this mistake. And Ravi Varman's cinematography is good. The production values are not at the level of Shankar's film. But it can be said that it is okay. There is no need to talk about Shankar's technical work as a director. He was also successful in that department. But.., as a writer, he completely failed. This is the biggest curse of "Bharatiyadu-2".
