Yakshini Web Series Review: Payal Rajput, who gained fame with RX100, is doing a series of films. Recently she got a good hit with the movie 'Mangalavaram'. Now she has come to the audience with another lady-oriented movie called 'Yakshini'. Yakshini, a crime investigative thriller with Payal Rajput in the lead roles, Roshan, Manas, etc., has hit the screens today on June 7. The film was produced and directed by Pradeep Thakore under the banner of Haripriya Creations. Payal played the role of a police officer in Yakshini. With the trailer and teasers, good expectations have been set for this movie.

Yakshni Web Series Story:

Kiran (Payal Rajput) works as an ACP. Two years ago, her best friend Priya committed suicide by jumping from the top. At that time, Kiran sees a masked man eating a lollipop and suspects that it is a murder. No matter how much the police investigate about it, they cannot find who the masked person is. When she becomes a policeman, she catches Arun (Manas) red-handed and gives a warning after knowing that he is making girls cry. Arun gets angry with Kiran due to this. One day Kiran creates a fake profile with her photo and has her number on the call girl app. Arun commits suicide while Kiran investigates who did this as he receives many calls.

When Arun dies, ACP releases a video saying that he died because of Kiran. But Kiran thinks that it is also a murder. But the higher authorities suspended her because a person died because of Kiran. At the same time, Kiran suspects that some girls' accidents and suicide cases are also murder cases. After being suspended, research will be done about them. Why did Arun commit suicide? Is it really murder? Does this have anything to do with Priya's death? Who put his fake profile on the call girl website? What is the relationship between accidents and suicides and Kiran's case? All the girls are dying for that? If you want to know that, you have to watch it on the screen.

Yakshini Analysis:

The entire first half of Kiran as a police officer, cases, Arun's case, Priya's death, Arun's death. With the suspension of Kiran, the interest will be increased as to how the case will be solved after giving an interval. In the second half, it is enough to research who is behind almost all the cases. That investigation can be very long. It gets boring as the story is shown in one place like research without moving for a long time.

But the audience must feel a little impatient to continue with the investigation till the end without telling what the real point is. Again suddenly in the climax, everything is revealed immediately and the end is given. Even though Payal is a police officer, except for a couple of action scenes, the whole thing is about investigation. A point in the society regarding girls and women has been well shown in the movie. I have taken a new point in terms of story.

Yakshini Actors Performance:

Payal Rajput has acted in all commercial and romantic films so far, but it is the first time that she has impressed as a policeman. Manas, who gained recognition with Bigg Boss, acted in a role with negative shades and seemed okay. As a villain, Roshan has cultivated villainism well. Shivannarayana, Anand Ranga.. and the rest of the actors also seemed to have no problem in their roles.

Technical aspects:

The cinematography visuals are good. Having the same title song seems to be fine. Mahathi Sagar's background music is good but is overdone in some places. In some places, it seems that the BGM that should be given to horror films has been given to a thriller film. The story is new but the story is old. It can be said that Pranadeep Thakore was successful with his first film while taking care of two responsibilities as a director on the other hand as a producer.

As a whole, the Yakshini movie is made as a suspenseful crime thriller on a topic related to women. This movie can be rated 2.5.
