Plot and new official trailer for Twisters
Twisters centers on a former hurricane hunter, Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who was deeply affected by a terrible tornado she encountered during college. Now Kate dedicates herself to studying the paths taken by hurricanes in the tranquility of her studio in New York. When her friend pushes her to return to the field to test an experimental weather warning system that tracks hurricanes, Kate will again find herself risking her own life.
The woman, however, will not be alone, because on her path she will cross paths with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a social media star, known not only for her charm but above all for her reckless exploits. In fact, Tyler enjoys going storm chasing with his group and then posting everything on the web.
Twisters also stars Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, Harry Hadden-Paton, David Corenswet, Tunde Adebimpe and Katy O'Brian. The film – Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Amblin Entertainment, and The Kennedy/Marshall Company production – was produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
