Megalopolis: the first clip featuring Adam Driver from Francis Ford Coppola's film has been revealed

The first clip from Francis Ford Coppola's highly anticipated new film, which will debut at the Cannes Film Festival, has been revealed.

While waiting for the world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival which will open its doors on May 14th, the very first official clip of Megalopolis has been released, the highly anticipated new film starring Adam Driver directed by the legendary director Francis Ford Coppola, who returns after more than 10 years since his last movie. The feature film, for the moment, has yet to have a release date in theaters.

According to initial rumors, Megalopolis is the story of an architect from New York City, who has a utopian plan to rebuild the city, totally destroyed by a catastrophe, in a completely new and innovative way. His dream, however, is hindered by the mayor of NYC, who is not fully convinced of the project. The story revolves around the personal, political, and romantic clashes that arise during a battle to build an American utopia. In addition to Adam Driver, the cast also includes Aubrey Plaza, Nathalie Emmanuel, Shia LaBeouf, Giancarlo Esposito, Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Kathryn Hunter, singer Grace VanderWaal, James Remar, Talia Shire, and Jason Schwartzman.

In the first clip, released by La Pacte, a French distribution company, we see Adam Driver in the role of the architect making a discovery that will change their destiny: that of controlling time. Below is the first official clip.
