Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for A Quiet Place: Day 1, the prequel to A Quiet Place (2018) written and directed by Michael Sarnoski. Starring Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o, the film will debut in cinemas on June 26, distributed by Eagle Pictures.

A Quiet Place: Day 1 is the third chapter of the saga started in 2018 by John Krasinski. The film will continue to explore humanity's fight against alien invasion, going back to the early days of the catastrophe. At the moment, an official synopsis of the film has not yet been revealed, which also stars Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou. The first two chapters, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II, grossed $341 million and $300 million worldwide respectively.
A Quiet Place: Day 1 is based on characters created by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck. The screenplay was signed by the director Michael Sarnoski himself. The film was produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, p.g.a., Brad Fuller, and John Krasinski, while the executive production was entrusted to Allyson Seeger and Vicki Dee Rock.
