Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for Transformers One, a prequel set several years before the Transformers film saga directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4). Set on Cybertron long before the Great War between Autobots and Decepticons, the film will focus on the evolution of the relationship between Orion Pax/Optimus Prime and D-16/Megatron: from brothers and comrades in arms to bitter enemies. The release date in Italian cinemas has been set for September 2024.

Transformers One is the never-before-seen origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, best known as sworn enemies, but once friends bonded like brothers who forever changed the fate of Cybertron. The first fully CG-animated Transformers film, the film boasts an all-star voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.
Transformers One was written by Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari, Steve Desmond, and Michael Sherman and produced by Michael Bay, Aaron Dem, Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, and Mark Vahradian. Steven Spielberg, Zev Foreman, Olivier Dumont, Brian Oliver, B.J. Farmer, and Matt Quigg served as executive producers.
