Get ready to see a battle between robot titans soon, as Dreamworks' The Wild Robot and Transformers: One are about to hit the big screen. However, while the release of the two films was very close, a recent decision caused the release date of The Wild Robot film to be postponed, thus avoiding direct competition with the new Transformers film.
The film, based on the successful book by Peter Brown, has undergone a change in its release date, moving from September 20th to September 27th. This strategic move was made to prevent the film from conflicting with the highly anticipated release of Transformers: One, originally scheduled for September 13th and now moved to September 26th.
The Dreamworks animated film boasts a successful voice cast, with actors such as Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O'Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, and Stephanie Hsu voicing the characters in the story.
The film follows the strange adventure of a shipwrecked robot, known as Roz, who finds herself stranded on an uninhabited island. There, Roz must learn to survive and adapt to the hostile environment, building bonds with the island's animals and becoming the foster parent of an orphaned duck. A new Dreamworks film which, we hope, can improve the terrible results the production company obtained previously.
