Apple TV+ has confirmed the renewal of the Monarch: Legacy of Monsters series for a second season, demonstrating the success of the first season. The success of the first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has pushed Apple TV+ to further expand the franchise, with a new multi-series deal signed with Legendary Entertainment that will include several spin-offs based on the world of monsters.

We couldn't be more excited that viewers not only have the chance to experience even more thrills in Season 2 but to embark on epic new journeys in the franchise as we expand Legendary's Monsterverse." In addition to the renewal confirmation, Apple TV+ announced that the new season will be executive-produced by Chris Black, Matt Fraction, Joby Harold, Safehouse Pictures' Tory Tunnell, Matt Shakman, Andrew Colville, and Jen Roskind.
Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will serve as executive producers for Toho Co., Ltd., Godzilla's production company. The series follows two brothers who follow in their father's footsteps to discover their family's connection to the secret organization Monarch. The clues take them into the world of monsters and lead them to uncover buried secrets that will change the course of their lives. The first season, currently streaming on Apple TV+, has achieved widespread success, garnering a huge number of Godzilla fans on the streaming platform.
