Despite the many projects presented at CinemaCon in Los Angeles, it seems that Borderlands managed to steal the show. With a stellar cast and a director like Eli Roth, the film promises to be a film full of action, flamethrowers, and sarcasm.

According to the cast, Borderlands will become a real cinematic phenomenon

The presentation featured a video message from major stars, including Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Jamie Lee Curtis, along with the live presence of Eli Roth and Ariana Greenblatt. While not everyone was physically present, the team's enthusiasm shone through, with the cast affirming that Borderlands is destined to become a real phenomenon on the big screen.

During a brief Borderlands Q&A, Roth revealed that the project took off after Cate Blanchett agreed to join the cast. The actress, known for her iconic roles in films such as Tar and Carol, was enthusiastic about embracing a completely different genre and challenging herself with a character who sports a flamethrower. Ariana Greenblatt, Blanchett's co-star in the film, praised the opportunity to work alongside a talent of Blanchett's caliber, describing the experience as a dream come true.

Rounding out an already exceptional cast in Borderlands are other cinematic icons such as Edgar Ramírez, Gina Gershon, Florian Munteanu, Bobby Lee, Olivier Richters, Haley Bennett, and many others.
