Gwyneth Paltrow has never seen Avengers: Endgame. The face of Pepper Potts, Iron Man's partner and a great addition to the team of heroes in the last episode of The Avengers, the actress missed several MCU films.
The Oscar-winning actress, a guest at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, said she had not seen all the MCU films, including Avengers: Endgame. Paltrow explained that she “stopped watching them at some point,” admitting to the audience: “I've never seen Endgame. I can't keep track of who's who. But I should probably do it at some point.”
This summer, Gwyneth Paltrow discussed her future with Marvel, explaining that she knows as much as fans do and that her role in the continuation of the MCU is uncertain. “Why do you need Pepper Potts without Iron Man? I don't know, she calls Marvel and yells at them! Not me! I know as much as you do!” she exclaimed in an Instagram post, answering fans' questions. The actress has previously said she is willing to reprise her role, as long as it fits in with her other work commitments: "I think if it was a small part that could be shot in a day or two obviously I would be willing to come back."
A further complication to Paltrow's potential return would obviously be that Iron Man canonically died in Avengers: Endgame. Even though the MCU is continually growing, Tony Stark's death is a fact that will remain unchanged, as recently confirmed by the higher-ups at Marvel Studios. Kevin Feige said, “We're going to keep that moment and never touch it again. We have all worked very hard for many years to get to this result and we would never want to magically undo it in any way.”
